I also got some new tattoos a few weeks ago.
One is a cross anchor that says “Hold Me Down” beneath it, which, for me represents Jesus always holding me down (the cross = Jesus, the anchor, well… you get the point)
The other is a double cup (if you didn’t know my drug of choice is Lean/Codeine/Prescription Cough Syrup, which is generally consumed in two styrofoam cups stacked one inside the other) pouring codeine out on Casper (which is what I call my addictive personality). The idea is that, when I get rid of the drugs, Casper (my addictive personality) gets up and flies away.
UPDATE:
So, I’ve been clean and sober for 42 days now, following a 2 week stint in the Dallas County Jail.
I’m moving into a sober living home in Denton this Friday and I’m super excited.
This is probably the first time in my life I’ve been REALLY serious about getting clean and DEFINITELY the first time I’ve wanted to get clean for myself.
So yeah.
Oh, and I’m working on a new mixtape AND I got a haircut.
